-- The opening ceremony of maxit Changping Plant

On 26th Oct, 2005, a new chapter of maxit Group began with the opening of Changping Plant of maxit Building Material (Beijing) Co., Ltd., which means maxit Group would be able to provide better service and solution to Chinese people and Chinese market in the future with the over 150 thousand tons premix of annual production capacity.

During the opening ceremony, general manager of maxit Building Material (Beijing) Co., Ltd., Mr. Markku Hyvarinen expressed his most sincere gratefulness to friends from China and all over the world, for the great care and support to them all the way.

As CEO of maxit Group AB, Mr. Cornelis Altena reviewed the history of maxit Building Material (Beijing) Co., Ltd., expressed his thanks to all of people that were involved and gave special thanks to some key persons and authorities, such as Beijing and Changping government and officials, maxit project managers Mr. Raimo Asunmaa and Mr. Jose Martos, Mr. Teemu Lantto from Lemcon, Mr. Wang Li Ping and Mr. Wang Ruilin from Zhong Tie Construction Group, Mr. Fu Qui Tao and Mr. Zhao Qigang from Beijing Cement Plant. He also made his special greetings to Mr. Rini Quirijns and Mr. Markku Hyvarinen as well as all members of maxit Beijing and maxit Group. He showed out his strong belief for the coming of success.

Mr. Chen Zhida, the general manager of Beijing Building Material Group, the joint venture partner of maxit Group, and Mr. Cheng Lianyuan, the Chief of Beijing Industry Promotion Bureau, also made their speeches and expressed their good wishes to maxit Building Material (Beijing) Co., Ltd..

 

After Mr. Cornelis Altena handed over the key to the plant manager Mr. Jose Martos, the opening ceremony ended with the ribbon-cutting and Chinese Lion show.

 

After the opening ceremony, over 260 guests got the opportunity to visit the plant in operation and the main product groups on demonstration; and they appreciated the showed maxit Floor, ETICs, Wetroom and airfresh a lot.
